Sun 2011 Mini Plans On Sale Now

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (February 14, 2011) – The Connecticut Sun announced today it is now offering two Mini Plan ticket packages for 2011.

The Big Game Plan is an eight-game package that includes Alana Beard and the Washington Mystics in the home opener on June 4th, Candace Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks on June 28th, Sue Bird and the WNBA champion Seattle Storm on July 1st, Katie Douglas and the Indiana Fever on July 17th, Lindsay Whalen and the Minnesota Lynx on August 16th and Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury on August 26th. The other two games in the plan are the Chicago Sky on August 9th and the New York Liberty on September 11th.

The Weekend Plan is a five-game package highlighted by a game against Angel McCoughtry and the defending Eastern Conference champion Atlanta Dream on July 31st, and also includes games with the Tulsa Shock on June 12th, the Sky on June 19th, the Mystics on August 13th and the Fever on September 2nd.

The Big Game Plan is priced at $184 and $224 while the Weekend Plan can be purchased for either $115 or $140. Those who purchase Mini Plans will enjoy the same seat for every game, priority purchase for playoff tickets and a discount off the box office price. In March, the Sun will also offer an opportunity for fans to pick their own six-game plan – with packages priced at $138 and $168 – or pick any four games for $64.
