Hey Sky Fans! Week 5 of Unlocking the Game with Coach Key is here! Find out how Coach Key responded to the questions you submitted over the past week below.

Hey Coach, with a team like Seattle who is playing as good as they are, what is your game plan for trying to beat them for a second time?
David, Forest Hills

Coach Key - They have the best record in the league right now. The fact that we beat them the last time we played them doesn’t affect our preparation for playing the best team in league. We need to watch as much film and video now, because what they were doing when we played them is probably different now. They could use our last game as motivation and playing there is a tough place to play. We need all the wins we can get and I anticipate a good game in Seattle.

Hello Coach! In Europe a team may file an official complaint to the league's authorities regarding a crucial bad call or calls in the game. I've never heard of such a thing in the NBA or WNBA. I'm not stating Chicago should do it after the highly controversial 5 sec. call in the Indiana game. I'm just curious if such a procedure is at all possible in American basketball.
Marcin, Poland

CK - It is possible. You can send in plays for review by the league. There is a process in which you can submit calls that you deem questionable, but it cannot change the outcome of a game, like in our case.

Last year we traded Armintie Price for Tamera Young because we needed more rebounding. This season we traded last year's 2nd leading rebounder Dupree for two good players. My question is, how can you motivate your team to get more rebounds?
Amanda, Homewood

CK - The one thing I know about rebounding is it’s not all about size and strength. It’s more about willingness and desire. We at times have the desire and the willingness, but it’s just unfortunate we are not consistent enough in pivotal positions in order to give yourself a win or giving other teams the possibility of winning. Motivation has to come from within.

I saw Coach Key walking into the arena before the Connecticut Sun game and I told him he should start Mistie Bass to provide an extra big presence in the post. Mistie did start and went on to her best game of the year with the most minutes played. Is Mistie going to be seeing a lot more time on the court?
Rich, Chicago

CK - She has been seeing more time. Mistie has seen more time in part because of the Sun game. She contributed strongly to that win. Our hope is that she and all players continue to give us the energy needed, whether they start or not.

Earlier this year I read that some teams have workout camps before the draft to get a closer look at some college seniors. Does the Sky have a similar camp like this?
Wallace, Milwaukee

CK - No we do not. We do our recruiting assessment throughout the college season but don’t have draft camps or scout camps. We do all our evaluation prior to that point. I go to games, tournaments and talk to coaches on all the players that we might have a possible interest in.
